Don't Follow
By Alice In Chains
Hey, I ain’t never coming Home Hey, I’ll just wander
my Own road Hey, I can’t meet you here tomorrow Say goodbye don’t follow Misery so hollow
Hey
you, you’re livin’ Life full throttle Hey you, pass me down that Bottle, yeah Hey you, you can’t
shake Me round now I get so lost and don’t Know how And it hurts to care, i’m Going down
Forgot
my woman, lost my Friends Thinks I’d done and where I’ve been Sleep in sweat the mirrors Cold See
my face it’s growin’ Old Scared to death no reason Why Do whatever to get me by Think about the
things i Said Read the page it’s cold And dead
Take me home

If You Could Read My Mind
By: Gordon Lightfoot
If you could read my mind love, what a tale my thoughts
could tell. Just like an old time movie about a ghost from a wishing well. In a castle dark or a fortress strong with
chains upon my feet, you know that ghost is me. And I will never be set free as long as I'm a ghost that you can't see.
If
I could read your mind love, what a tale your thoughts could tell. Just like a paperback novel, the kind that drugstores
sell. When you reach the part where the heartaches come, the hero would be me but heroes often fail. And you won't read
that book again because the ending's just too hard to take. I'd walk away like a movie star who gets burned in a three
way script, enter number two. A movie queen to play the scene of bringing all the good things out in me, but for now
love, let's be real. I never thought I could feel this way and I've got to say that I just don't get it, I don't know
where we went wrong but the feeling's gone and I just can't get it back.
If you could read my mind love, what a tale
my thoughts could tell. Just like an old time movie about a ghost from a wishing well. In a castle dark or a fortress
strong with chains upon my feet, but stories always end. And if you read between the lines you'll know that I'm just trying
to understand the feelings that you lack. I never thought I could feel this way and I've got to say that I just to get
it, I don't know where we went wrong but the feeling's gone and I just can't get it back.
Carefree Highway
By: Gordon Lightfoot
Picking up the pieces of my sweet shattered
dream, I wonder how the old folks are tonight. Her name was Ann and I'll be damned if I recall her face, she left me not
knowing what to do. Carefree highway, let me slip away on you, carefree highway, you seen better days, the morning
after blues from my head down to my shoes. Carefree highway, let me slip away, slip away on you.
Turning back the
pages to the times I love best, I wonder if she'll ever do the same. Now the thing that I call living is just being satisfied
with knowing I got no one left to blame. Carefree highway, got to see you my old flame. Carefree highway, you seen better
days, the morning after blues from my head down to my shoes. Carefree highway, let me slip away, slip away on you.
Searching
through the fragments of my dream-shattered sleep, I wonder if the years have closed her mind. I guess it must be wanderlust
or trying to get free from the good old faithful feeling we once knew. Carefree highway, let me slip away on you, carefree
highway, you seen better days, the morning after blues from my head down to my shoes. Carefree highway, let me slip
away, slip away on you. Let me slip away on you, carefree highway, got to see you my old flame. Carefree highway, you seen
better days, the morning after blues from my head down to my shoes. Carefree highway, let me slip away, slip away on
you.
Still Remain
Written In Memory Of Tracy Bond By: Tim Bond
Your flame has smothered
Lights have dimmed
A life so pure
Fails to be
There is no more time
I took it all for granted
If you were still here
We'd make the best of it;
Brother now you may be gone
I will never be the same
Brother now you may be gone
But our memory's still remain
Four became three
How can this be
The beast has forsaken
But not only me
Why am I so angry
Why can't I see
I couldn't have stopped it
It's the way it had to be
Brother now you may be gone
I will never be the same
Brother now you may be gone
But our memory's still remain

Angel's Wings
By: Mike Ness and Social Destortion
You
say you're down on your luck hey baby, its a long, long way up hold back now, hold back your fears you say you're
really down and out and you feel like there's no way out now let go now let go of your tears some more
How many
times have you asked yourself is this the hand of fate that I've been dealt? you're so disillusioned this can't be real and
you can't stand now the way you feel
I don't care about what they say I won't live or die that way tired of figuring
out things on my own angel's wings wont you carry me home
[Chorus:] And when you're down on your luck hey
baby, its a long, long way up hold back now, hold back your fears and when you're really down and out and you feel
like there's no way out now let go now let go of your tears some more
[Repeat Chorus]
I triumphed in the
face of adversity and I became the man I never thought I'd be and now my biggest challenge, a thing called love I
guess I'm not as tough as I thought I was
I don't care about what they say I'm gonna marry you some day go ahead
and wake up, its a brand new day Angel's wings gonna carry you away Angel's wings are going to carry me away Angel's
wings are going to carry us away
Freebird By: Lynard Skynard If I leave
here tomorrow Would you still remember me? For I must be travelling on, now, 'Cause there's too many places I've
got to see. But, if I stayed here with you, girl, Things just couldn't be the same. 'Cause I'm as free as a bird
now, And this bird you can not change. Lord knows, I can't change.
Bye, bye, its been a sweet love. Though this feeling I can't change.
But please don't take it badly, 'Cause Lord knows I'm to blame. But, if I stayed here with you girl, Things
just couldn't be the same. Cause I'm as free as a bird now, And this bird you'll never change. And this bird you
can not change. Lord knows, I can't change. Lord help me, I can't change
My Way By:
Elvis Presley
And now the end is near So I face the final curtain My friend,
I'll say it clear I'll state my case of which I'm certain
I've lived a life that's full I've traveled each and every highway
And more, much more than this I did it my way
Regrets, I've had a few But then again, too few to mention I
did what I had to do And saw it through without exception
I planned each charted course Each careful step along the byway
Oh, and more, much more than this I did it my way
Yes, there were times, I'm sure you know When I bit off more
than I could chew But through it all when there was doubt I ate it up and spit it out I faced it all and I stood
tall And did it my way
I've loved, I've laughed and cried I've had my fails, my share
of losing And now as tears subside I find it all so amusing To think I did all that And may I say, not in
a shy way Oh, no, no not me I did it my way
For what is a man, what has he got If not himself, then he has
not To say the words he truly feels And not the words he would reveal The record shows I took the blows And
did it my way The record shows I took the blows And did it my way
